Smiling Pat

I personally hosts all of my tours, so I guess that makes me "the Boss." I spent over 15 years working for other tour companies. Then, about 10 years ago, I made the leap of faith and started my own company. Today, it’s more than obvious that I truly love what I do, and I’m proud to share and show off the rich cultural history of my island, as well as the natural beauty that sets Grand Bahama apart from the rest of the pack.

I am the eldest of nine children and the daughter, world famous steel drum player, "Little Sparrow". My father and brothers make steel drums in Freeport, Bahamas. They also play for weddings and private parties. My mother and brothers create wonderful arts and crafts, by hand. See them at my store in Port Lucaya.

In 2007 I made an appearance on the Food Network’s hit TV show Dinner Impossible with Chef Robert Irvine. The episode, Stranded: Deserted Island (Season 1, Episode 7) aired back in January of 2007 (video to be posted soon). It was shot on location at Sandy Cay also known as Gilligan’s Island in Grand Bahama. Dinner Impossible showcased Chef Irvine, who was assisted by myself and two former cast mates of the reality TV show Survivor, Jenna Morasca and Ethan Zohn. Together we whipped up a succulent six-course Bahamian culinary feast in record time for appreciative hungry guests. The webmaster of my site and myself are also looking into getting the video of this episode on the website, please keep checking back!!
